Eagle Aviation Technologies, LLC (Newport News, Va) is seeking a qualified Aerospace Composite Painter for leading edge Aerospace Projects. Job Summary: Crucial role in the final assembly process by prepping and applying high-quality finishes to composite materials used. Requires expertise in prepping, paint application techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.

Salary: Starting at $18+ based on experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Team player.
- Good Math and Mechanical aptitude.
- High degree of craftsmanship and good hand skills.
- Follow operating procedures, engineering instructions, and other recognized methods of instructions.
- Prepare composite surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling.
- Choose appropriate primers, paints, and coatings based on the specified requirements.
- Masking to flow sheet, blueprints, and drawings.
- Apply primers, paints, and coatings to various aerospace parts.
- Ensure final product meets high-quality standards and specifications.
- Manage and monitor the shelf life of materials, i.e. paints.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines established by the company and regulatory bodies.
- Other activities as directed.
Credentials and Experience
- Will work on government contracts.
- HS Degree or equivalent required.
- Proven 3+ years of experience as a painter in automotive bodywork
- Proficiency in surface preparation and painting techniques.
- Must be US citizen.
